Perfume is one of the most exciting of feminine accessories.
It has the power to delight your own senses enormously and to make you appear lovelier to others.
Welcome to Cleopatra's Boudoir, ثلعہپاتراس بہءدہیر. I have compiled a ton of research about various perfume companies, their fragrances and dates of manufacture. Please feel free to browse thru any of the pages. The blog is a more in depth area in which I explain the histories of some of your favorite perfumes, focusing on cult classics, discontinued fragrances, vintage perfumes & bottles. Additionally, I will be adding more info on vanity accessories and lady's accoutrements such as vanity purses, compacts, and more.
I also offer an appraisal service for perfume bottles, powder boxes, lady's accessories and vanity items.
As a self-proclaimed perfume historian and detective, I search high and low for info on obscure, discontinued and well known perfumes and their companies. I am also known as the Perfume Lady, Perfume Expert, Cleopatra, and the Princess-of-Perfume (some say Queen of Perfume haha), I take pride in researching and delving information to present to anyone who is interested in vintage perfumes and related accessories. I lend my knowledge to the Ebay discussion boards, namely the Pottery, Glass & Porcelain board, Antiques board, Collectibles board and the Health & Beauty board. Perfumes are liquid history.

I am happy to report that some of my knowledge about perfume bottles was featured in a 2008 article for SmartBuy by Business Line. The article is titled "On the scent trail".
My eBay guides were featured in an article called “Tips and Guides on Types of Perfume” by www.patisseriedeliceroyal.com
Beauty Bible Blog has this to say about Cleopatra's Boudoir "We've always had a 'thing' for vintage perfumes and perfume bottles (though not quite in the league of our friend Roja Dove and his world-class flacon collection). So on our peregrinations through cyberspace we were pleased to stumble across a US website - Cleopatra's Boudoir - which focusses on old bottles, the websites where you can find them, discontinued scents (how we long to have smelled Bonne Belle's Gadabouts, Lundborg's Stolen Secret or Atkinson's A Nosegay, for instance...) - and also features a blog about the author's fragrant vintage 'finds'. (Recent postings include Cobra by Weil, Fabergé's Straw Hat, or - oh, an old chypre favourite of Jo's, this - Sikkim, which was briefly revived by Lancôme about five years ago, but then disappeared once again into the ether.) We say: this Temple to Ancient Perfumes is a must-have addition to the blog-roll for any fragrance fiend. "
Thank you to Wanderlust & Pixie Dust and the Jazz Age on Facebook for featuring my article on Boudoir Dolls.
Recently sold a vintage perfume bottle to Roja Dove, writer, speaker, industry commentator and above all, author of the fabulous book The Essence of Perfume.

As a Cleopatra's Boudoir member, you have the privilege of adding your perfume bottle, powder box, vanity accessory or lady’s accessory, for sale in the special photo gallery of Items for Sale on a consignment basis on my website. A good, clear picture is needed along with a description, condition report and price. My commission is 50% of the selling price.
If you want me to sell your items on my website for you my charges are usually 50/50 of the selling price, or, I can also work with you, name your price that you want for the item and I will add my profit onto that price. Please be realistic about your prices. I no longer sell on ebay, their listing fees are atrocious.
